Wotton House Hotel - Dorking

I loved double superior room in this hotel.

The hotel's location was secluded, to the beautiful bridges that cross the streams that surround the House. Friendly service from all the really excellent and efficient staff that I interacted with;))

The unit we got was luxurious and magical with the fan as well as a garden view.

comfy bed, large bathroom and air conditioner and coffee in the room. the staff was very amiable and the restaurant served outstanding meals. fantastic, beautiful location in the impressive area.

Impeccably clean accommodation, really helpful staff in our request on this. Tastefully decorated comfortably furnished rooms with great views, and an air conditioner, coffee and a safe. Very pleasant restaurant, for dinner online.

The accommodation is very quietly situated in a huge park.

From the outside a very pleasant accommodation, but from the inside it resembled a holiday resort. At breakfast it was very, very loud. Moreover, some of the staff did not speak English, so ordering a cappuccino alone became a real problem.

Drinks were expensive in bar.

The ensuite had a bath as well as a shower. The room was clean, a reasonable size and it had all the relevant facilities and they worked.

The dinner menu was very limited and I felt it was expensive for what it was. The bottle of wine we selected was good but again on the expensive side.

The hotel and the grounds were lovely, quiet and peaceful. Very relaxing and a very nice pub at the end of the drive!

Stayed at wotton house for a night and loved the beautiful grounds. Our historic house room was spacious with lovely garden views. The club pool was a highlight and the staff were helpful. Free access to health and fitness facilities was a bonus!

The attitude of the staff was terrible. Their main focus was on a wedding party and not on the needs of individual guests.

Wifi not very reliable in some parts of hotel

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, fantastic setting and architecture. Well furnished, very hewlpful staff. Wish I could have stayed longer for a break rather than for business.

I arrived late (9:45) and the hotel could not serve me any food.

Couple's Getaway with Nice Touches

The staff were lovely, they looked after us well, really was like they were very good. We were able to enjoy the pool and facilities in the leisure club and walk round the fine grounds, was a nice retreat.

It wasn't inexpensive, but still acceptable for the quality received.

The building and grounds were excellent but being large it will always have events especially weddings taking place (two during our stay).The staff on the check out when we left were very good and wrote off the cost of our dinner because the service had been poor: if they had not this report would have been more critical.

The staff on the front desk when we checked in were not very helpful. It took us 20 minutes to find the dining room becuase the name had been changed and the staff kept trying to send us to a room that did not exist. Once in the restaurant the service was slow and some of the food was undercooked eg chips.
